The company GERO Hochtemperaturöfen has specialised in the construction of furnaces and crystal growth equipment for 30 years.
Both company founders come from the crystal growth laboratory of the Max-Planck Institute für Festkörperforschung in Stuttgart and have therefore concentrated on the growth of crystals and growth systems from the outset.
Our crystal growth systems are characterised by precise mechanical assemblies, with optimum balancing of turning parts, exactly defined temperature distribution including optimum gradients and precisely functioning control and monitoring assemblies.
We have also manufactured systems for the growth of II-VI materials, metals and alloys, optical monocrystals such as fluorides using the Bridgman, Stockbarger , flux, zone melting, chemical transport and sublimation method.
Over the years so many crystal growth machines have been built that we can draw on a large range of subassemblies, which can be put together as required.
